| 22 June 2011
| Felling operations are taking place beside the track which runs along the west side of Lussa Loch between Saddell and Campbeltown. As of today, 22nd June, the Kintyre Way has been diverted down the east side of Lussa Loch to avoid the felling area. The diversion starts at Bord a Dubh (NR724 314) and joins the Peninver spur at NR 712 282. From there it is a short walk to the main waymarked route down to Campbeltown. There are diversion signs in place and the new route is waymarked. The whole area is part of a working forest so please keep away from working machinery and wait until the operators wave you through.

| Lambing Time 5 April 2011
| This month is a very busy time in Kintyre with all the farmers working very hard at the lambing. A good lambing season means the difference between a good year and a bad year for the farmer and they need your help! From now until the end of May please either leave your dog at home or at the very least keep it on a short lead when passing the lambing fields. This is especially important above Clachan, at Rhunahaorine Point, the south end of Lussa Loch and at Amod Farm. There are miles of forest on the Kintyre Way where dogs are no problem at all so once again please support the farmers and help make this years lambing season a success.

| The forestry are busy extending the track above Tarbert. The Kintyre Way now branches away to the left about 500 metres along the new track. The junction is waymarked but keep an eye out for it as the new track is a dead end and anyone missing the junction will have a long detour. | Carradale Route Change 14 August 2009
| There has been a slight change to the route in Carradale. Instead of following the road out of Carradale the Kintyre Way now follows the forest track above the road, descending to the road at the Network Centre. The new route is well waymarked and a much more pleasant walk with no cars to worry about.

| New Path Opens
| The Kintyre way has now been diverted through the grounds of Ronachan House, a mile south of Clachan. Great news for all walkers this summer as it bypasses one of the worst road stretches. Please remember that Ronachan House is a hospital. Respect the residents privacy and travel through quietly and quickly.
